Finally!

I had gastric bypass surgery like 10 months ago.. I waited a little too long to start weight training but I'm starting now. I only have selecttech dumbbells at my disposal at the moment and I've been looking for a good resource to start this stage of my weight loss / body building.

Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the site! You've found a wonderful resource for your journey! :D

All I have here at home is the same dumbbells, and they give me a great workout on days I can't make it into the gym. One word of caution: do not drop these dumbbells (even from a short distance). The retainer rings inside are plastic and have a tendency to break when jarred. I haven't had this happen to myself, but have read many reviews stating this fact.

Enjoy and good luck attaining your goals! You have set goals, haven't you? ;)

Thanks all!

I'm currently trying to define my actual goals. Right now I know I need to build more muscle to assist with fat burning. I also REALLY want to improve my posture, strengthen my back and get some size in my shoulder/arms. I''m 6'3 with a big frame.. I'd really love to sculpt it. I need to burn belly fat as well which I'll probably have to work on seperately.

My big issue is that I've found some literature and books with good workouts but I'm wanting to add them to a printable routine that I can have up in my room to watch while I'm working out. I've seen one site that will allow you to build a routine and print it with visual diagrams, etc.. but they charge.

Anyone know of any free templates that might fit my needs?

Thanks again all!
