Finally got to write an intro!

Hi! I've been registered and hanging out here for at least a few weeks now. Thought it was time to say Hello.

I'm a 60 year old male, 6' tall.
Started going to the gym 3 yrs ago at 193lbs, been holding at 158-163 for a year. Keeping the fat off, building strength and adding a little muscle are my goals.

Workouts are at Bally's in Hamden, CT
Cardio 5-6 days a week, 45-60 mins a day. Cycling as an add-in during summer but not consistent.
Mon-Wed-Fri is upper body, Currently, chest flies, rows, pull/pushups, presses.
Tue+Thu are lower body. Currently doing Ab/Adductors, lunges, seated leg curls, leg extentions.
Abs/obliques and other core/flex "stuff" is done daily, rotated and frequently changed.
15 minutes of stretching after each workout.
Every 3 months or so I change the basic exercises for upper body, switching to dumbells and back.

I try to eat right but I also enjoy life! Beer with a meal, Margarita's when dining out with the wife, deserts are all a part of having fun.

Goal > plan > moderation > apply consistently!

I hope to be a small voice but at least a good listener.

Welcome. And gratz on the great workout! I too indulge in the ocassional beer with dinner (prolly gonna have quite a few green ones this Friday). And, I dig gin martinis over margaritas, but it is the same principle. Moderation, as you mentioned, is the key to most things in life!
