As I had written in another thread not too long ago I have been sitting at 173lbs for about 2 weeks. I decided to mix some things up in my diet and cycling routine and I am so happy to say that I am back on track of losing the fat. Yesterday's weight 169, so a good 4 pounds in about 10 days of adjustments. Feeling very good. I am writing this more as a motivation for others who may be stuck on the scale and honestly to give myself a pat on the back.

Things I changed: upped my length of time of riding from an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Also to be noted, I changed my frequency from almost every day to 3 days on 1 day off. Odd but maybe I was doing too much for my body to make any adjustment.

Slight changes in diet not a huge difference. Took the english muffin and peanut butter out of breakfast and added a protein drink and a fruit.

Lunch just changed type of bread, from wheat to 7-grain. Removed my usual peanut butter and replaced with a lean ham and mustard sandwich. Replaced Doritoes with low fat pretzel sticks. added fresh cut veggies.

Afternoon snack stay the same, fruit with a low cal granola bar or equiv.

Dinner flutuates

last small snack meal protein drink and a fruit.

Biggest change was drinking water upped my intake from 3-4 bottles to 6-8.

Started taking Omega 3 during this time, not sure if it has helped or if the change in workout routine and food did this. Also using a product called hot-rox again started this about 10 days ago, could be helping, but again hard to tell outside of regular diet and exercise.

So quick summary: start weight 190 lbs Feb, 2008
present weight: 169 April 10th, 2008
Goal May 2008 :my six pack showing 160lbs getting close I can see the transformation and shape of body really changing from my original weight of 190.

Sorry wasn't trying to write a book..Have a Healthy day!
