I've decided to get serious about getting my body into shape. I have been pregnant with and/or nursing our 3 children for the last 7 years and I after a period of shock when everything didn't go back exactly the way it was before
, I am ready to work with what I've got.
I've been running as often as I can for several years, but with 3 young children and a husband who travels quite a bit, I am not able to get out for a run as often as I'd like. We do have a treadmill, but I don't use it with the kids around. In the last year, I've run 2 20Ks and 1 half marathon, but have decided that I don't really enjoy the long distances and kept injuring myself while training for the last 20K.
I have started working out to Jillian Michael's workouts and I'm loving them. I am doing the 30 Day Shred and No More Trouble Zones (using Exercise TV). We are currently living in Belgium for my husband's job and we can't afford a gym membership here so it is up to me to find a way to fit my workouts in at home. For the last week, I have worked out every day and I'm loving that! It is my goal to find a way to fit one work out in per day even if it is only 20 minutes.
My big challenges are going to be eating healthier and not eating at night (after kids are in bed) which is a really bad habbit.
Looking forward to meeting others and cheering each other on!
