Final meal of the day

Hello

I have my final meal of the day at 20:00 and I do not eat anything after that.

My concern is that sometimes I am up till 2 or 3 in the morning doing some work. So should I be eating something after my final meal or avoid eating anything.

I keeping reading everywhere that I shouldn't be eating after a certain time, usually it says between 6 - 8.

Eat if you are hungry.
All that "eat now, not then" is a bunch of bullshit.

If you dont eat after 8 and then stay up till 2-3, how long do you sleep?

Yeah, like I said. If you get hungry, eat. If you are good the way you are dont sweat it. BUt dont be thinking that there is some magic that happens after 6 oclock that makes frobie quit losing weight.

I think that got started in some programs to keep people from eating bad stuff at night, as a lot of people who are overweight do, and just slowly got warped and twisted from a pretty good method to avoid an unhealthy triger. To getting to be a physical fact that your bodies metabolism some how changes gears after the evening news.

In fact depending on what the rest of your diet/training looks like. You may benefit from a protein rich snack at night to aid in muscle retention/growth/reconstruction.
