Well, I started walking on a treadmill because I was going through a rough period in my life. It just helped me take my mind off of everything. I really wasn't that much into losing weight, but it helped me get down to about 230. I stayed there for the longest time, didn't really try much.
Well, September of last year I started getting depressed again and finally, because of gas prices, I had to put the car in the garage until prices came down. From there I biked everywhere. To my parents' house, to my friends' houses, to work, everywhere. Just loved it too. I started biking faster and longer each night. I figured if I was biking so much, might as well go the entire way and watch what I was eating too. I went to under 2000 calories a day and biking 2 - 7 hours a day, depending if I worked or not.
In December I had dropped to 190 and couldn't go any further. I tried for 2 weeks but I really hit a plateau. My Aunt asked if I wanted to join her gym, and figuring that since I wasn't doing much else with the biking anyways, I accepted.
Since then I've been working with weights and lost down to 173. Feeling absolutely amazing here.
