I spent 2 years struggling to lose fat - then finally 'came into the zone' of dieting about 8 months ago, and went from 224lbs to 194lbs, no idea of BF% change but I look like a different man. My secret? Getting dumped by the girlfriend that wanted McDonald's every night, amongst other things.
I've been lifting on and off for a couple of years, never really got into it seriously but I'm currently at the beginning of my first ever muscle-bulk,
My 9-5 office job dictates the only time I get to work out is in the evening, normally at about 8pm, long after I've had dinner.
Trouble is, whenever I get started on my FBW, I start to feel very, very tired after just the first few reps. I normally go for about 15 minutes tops, then sit down for a rest - and give up.
Any tips to combat this? Any foodgroups or types of carb or energy soruce I should be eating beforehand?
All advice appreciated.
