Feeling the shame....

Hey everyone.

Feeling really low today!
After a loss in my family I made a silly mistake and turned to food as comfort....
Even though I haven't gone back to my orginal weight of 212.0 I have gone from 205 to 208!!!!!!

Feeling like a total let down....

I did go out today and buy a York Rowing Machine to do exercise on but I still feel so silly.
 
Look, don't get too down on yourself!! You HAVE to pick up and move on!! At one point I was down to 180 and feeling great, but I got deppressed over a couple bad days...and here I am, 40 pds heavier :( So please, live my lesson learned and just pick up and keep at it!
 
Even those who have lost tons often go back to the binge thing occasionally and slip up :)

Im back to ridding myself of that last 30lb!
 
Don't be ashamed. You have nothing to be ashamed about because you ate something.

You are human like everyone else. We all, have slip ups.

It's done now. Focus on your next goal. Just don't let yourself continue to gain weight.

My husband saw me eating some potato chips last night (something that I rarely do) and was horrified (he is a health fanatic, not weight conscious). I just smiled and said "I'm human".

Don't be so hard on yourself.

Erm I'm not 100% sure how to start off with the rowing machine the guy at shop said do 3 mins then rest then 3 more then rest.

and try for 30 mins a day that right?
 
do as much as you feel you can without making yourself feel like absolute shit.
I find going hard for a few mins , then taking it easy a few mins , then going hard etc
I listen to my ipod, 1 song hard, 1 song soft. It makes it go faster and its much more tolerable :)

Everytime I look at your pics I am amazed of your progress. You used to look shockingly hideous. Now you look really pretty. Your looks improved 1,000 fold.

Your bike riding has probably added some muscle mass to your legs because you look about 150-155 lbs right now, not 173.
 
lol, yeah i do look lighter, but i definatly hold enough fat on my ass and stomach that id like it gone :)
 
pfft, my body aint all that great.
But it IS a shitload beter than it was! So im pretty darned honest about it. Its not perfect, far from it, but at least im not the blob i once was :)
 
Hideous before/ not hardly you looked like you were fun... :) not that you don't know but you looked fun.. not everyone can pull off multi colored hair :)
