Well let me begin by saying i'm am currently very overweight i weigh 102.3kgs and so far i have lost 2.2 kgs im aiming for a goal weight of 85 and i do intend to get there i have 17.3 to go. Im using the weight watchers method of i have been sucessful on this 2 years ago and know it works for me..

i weigh in every morning as soon as i get up and it keeps me honest as well as motorvated as i can see it not going up...so far anyway.;)

I make sure i write everything down and dont cheat there is no point.

If anyone reads this i hope you are going well in your own travels and keep going....:)

As for weighing in every morning, (I do the same thing) just make sure not to get discouraged at the gain of a pound or two. Weight fluctuates, so basing your weight off a weekly scale is the best way to gauge your actual loss. I weigh in every morning, but only really go by what happens on Fridays.

thanks guys. It's good to know that you can get support here. Well another sucessful day on my part i resisited the hot chips and had a chicken salad sandwich and must admit i did enjoy it without the guilty feelings lol :)
I cant wait to fit my jeans again. I have a pice of paper on my fridge with my first 10kgs broken into 5kgs each lot and i cross off when i lose a kilo and it keeps me going as i cant wait to cross them all off and after each 5kgs i'm going to treat myself with something but not food.. SHOES and CLOTHES

hi again, well its been a tough day today went xmas shopping and had to resist all those yummy things like candycanes yum... I wanted to go to the bakery but knew that if i did that would be a loaf of bread for today that i would'nt stop eating. Tomorrow is my offical weigh in day and i'm feeling very happy bout it cause i know i have done well. Then try to do it all again next week.

Hi i have had so much trouble today and yesterday arvo i have a sweet tooth and if i taste anything sweet thats the end of it haha but its been ok i have got through ive tryed curbing it with apples and yoghurt. My treadmill has been getting a pounding trying to work off that pinkie bar. the water is keepimg cravings at bay as well. does anyone have any healthy sweet recipes to share? Is there such a thing as a healthy sweet??

Glad you have joined. visit this place often and it will help you stay the course. It is great that you write your tempations down. Many folks here are being tempted everyday. You are not alone. Even in the middle of the night,,lol. I know that you will reach your goals. Hang in there girly!
 
Thanks pretty thing29 im hoping this will help me keep on track as i have failed the last 3 times ive tried. Today is going well so far my clothes are even feeling looser and more comfortable ive been for a big walk today. I can see the benefits of losing weight already and its only been a couple of weeks. That helps!!!
 
Hello today is a great today except tonite is shopping night it used to be take away night and i LOVE KFC lol i will get through this ill keep you posted lol
Anyway i love popcorn light butter ofcourse its great when the kids come home snacking. i need to start drinking more water its starts off ok then i go to my diet coke and its not really the same is it.
Oh well Shopping here i come

a new day and im glad shopping day is over lol :) i did however buy gingerbread ice-cream and it is the most delisious thing i have ever tasted and will and MUST never buy again. today i have'nt done to bad pretty much back on track.

Good job on surviving the shopping day - remember, it's not about denial (as in, never buy it again!) but portion control :)

Hi FL, welcome to the forum. You look like your doing a good job so far. If you up for inspiration you should go to the very first page of M2M's diary and start reading from there. Or some other great journals for motivation are Maleficents and T2 Truckers, oh, and you can't forget Wishes journal. They are all very motivating and inspiring people (and they are right here, at your beg and call...lol). Keep up the good work, you can do this!
 
Thanks for the advice guys. I do like reading others journeys. I havent wrote in a couple of days and was feeling guilty bout it haha this is my chance to redeem myself haha i had a big blow out on friday night and am recovering slowly haha im didnt do alot that was bad this week just a few setbacks but im not losing focus im straight back on the weight loss wagon. anyway i'm going out tonight to a bbq and am going to make a salad so i wont fill like doing too bad

Hi all xmas is a bad time for hampers haha but its going ok ive lost another 200 gms so im happy its slow but will be easier to keep off if its slow lol :)
The kids are now off school so snacking will be a problem will need strong will power im cutting celery and carrot sticks its great to have them on hand. and salsa yum. havent stepped on the treadmill in 2 days but i intend to get back on it tomorrow as im going out tonight but eating before i leave so i wont have take out. GOOD PLAN I THINK
 
Well im doing well and am enjoying my eating plan at the moment. I am not looking forward to xmas food but i am doing all the excersise i can at the moment so i can not feel gulity.

Hi again thanks txturtlegirl i hope all is going well for you too. Well OMG i put on 1 kg and i guess i should be thankful its no more im back on track today and just about to step on the treadmill. I have eaten so much sugar im craving again and i feel like all my hard work has gone down the drain in one day but i know it can be done so once again here i go :) I brought a new pair of togs yesterday i wish it was a bikini hahaha but not this year it kind of motivates you swimwear shopping its HORRIBLE. lol :)
 
Well i need all the kids lollies from xmas gone i find myself snacking on them all the time this is not good. I have added taebo into my excersise and i love it but im very very sore. :( But i know it will work as i have done it in the past. So i will keep going Im enjoying fish and salad at the moment so my eating is not too bad just gotta get rid of LOLLIES lol Im back to tracking my food which really helps me if i dont track i eat all day.
