Pretty self explanatory... I'm hovering around 200lbs. and want to get to 170. I'm really muscular as is and carry almost all my weight in my waist (Grreeeaaat :banghead: lol)

So, Time to start this journey. I've been doing morning circuit workouts at home every other day and preparing meals at home. I cut fast food, soda, ect. My weakness is eating late and sweets. OMG I love cupcakes. Not really sure what I expect to get out of being on this forum but hopefully some advice and motivation.

Hello again :) And I look forward to being here.

Welcome to the forum.

It is annoying the way that we carry those surplus pounds... I have gained weight over the last two years and literally seem to carry every pound of it in my tummy... Parts of me still look thin and then my tummy looks enormous.

As for your weakness of eating late... That need not be a problem as it is total calories eaten that counts rather than issues of timing so all the diet rules that say not to eat after a certain time or to have x small meals a day are actually diet myths... the only real benefits are that it may help some people to keep within their calorie allowance and of course if they weigh first thing in the morning they are improving the chances of having processed the food and been to the toilet regarding it before getting onto the scales... this isnt really about losing fat though...

As for eating sweets, maybe you could substitute sugar free sweets or gum, or fruit...

Not having food instead of sweets if you are not actually hungry is obviously the better option - but that can sometimes be hard to do...
