well it takes about 6 sessions becuase your hair grows in cycles. it was 400 per session and prob one of the most painful things ive ever gone through and i say this after going through brain surgery!

Thats very true. Especially women with things like PCOS, because of the hormones you get the wonky hair issue, however, if you lose weight you can also sorta control that to a lesser degree. So in that particular case, being over weight doesn't help but it isn't the root cause, but losing weight can help.
For guys? Beats me...lol.

Holy Moses! Laser hair removal sounds VERY expensive! I obviously went into the wrong profession...
Since getting my weight under control I don't seem to be losing so much hair, and I just pluck and bleach the rest. Sorry if TMI!!! *sigh* ain't hormones grand. My friend has blackmail video of me getting my back waxed for the first time...but I also have a video of him getting it for the first time too, and THATS why no one will EVER see those videos...
ChirpyBird I do believe that if I got my back waxed more often it wouldn't be as painful, unfortunately I can't pay to have it done that often, and I have no one that would really WANT to do it for me that often (That excludes PaperAirPlanes, shes just plain crazy). I've had it done probably 3 times in my entire life, and each time was pretty painful because it wasn't consistent, nor was it professionally done.
But the whole back breaking out in acne thing, yeah that was awful, and there is this oil that I put on my back that was supposed to prevent it from happening, buuuut it didn't really work. I guess there is no real way to prevent it?
Oh yeah and I love how you responded to so many posts at the same time, haha. Good stuff!

Ooohhhh PaperAirPlanes - you reminded me of a trick that helps. When you catch poor FatShowdown to wax his back - try using those Sally Hansen pre-waxed strips. Put baby powder down on the skin first, then the strips on top of that. Pat the strips down so they grab the hair - then yank. It won't grab the skin that way - just the hair.![]()
