fast metabolism?

i think you know because your body temperature raises ( anybody correct me if im wrong ). and it doesnt stay faster forever, just for a period of time. ive been sweating in bed at night because my metabolism, i hope its cause my metabolism, and i wouldnt sweat unless my body temp was risen, i hope not. ( ive been recently drinking a crap load of water )

why just for a period of time?
 
lol iuno, im not a guru of this stuff. i just know the basics. but id say if your meals are...i guess you could say timed nicely ( small meals, 5-6 a day like you said ) youd be keeping up your metabolism all day long. and drink water ( i guess ice water is the best, if you read that article by nick )
 
ice water is best cause it takes more calories for your body to heat it up, but yeah i just ate like 2 hours ago, a big bowl of oatmeal and some leftovers, and im hunry again.
 
does your metabolism mean that you just absorb those calories faster? or it actually uses as if you were to run off 50 calories?
 
metabolism is how much engery your body uses. so if you eat more food more often your body has to raise your metabolism, in order to digest the food and convert it to energy, also the more energy you use (ie. working out, running) your metabolism raises inorder to meet the demands of the muscles being used. many factors affect your metabolic rate.
 
say on a resting day. eating ( 5-6 small meals to keep it up ) wouldnt raise your caloric intake from 2000, to like 2300, or does it?

i was trying to say, cause if your metabolism just eats the food faster, then you would just be more prone to over eating for that day, i would think. or am i way off
 
caloric intake is exactly what it says how many calories you take in, it has nothing to do with how many you burn, thats metabolism.

and if your metabolism is using food faster than eating more wont make you over eaty cause your metabolism is using the engery to fuel muscles, if you eat more than you need though it will store it as fat.
