excess skin

I'm 18 6'3 and I was skinny than i gradually gained weight and got up to 240, didnt stay there for very long maybe a month, but I've been overweight for about a year and a few months, I'm down to 215 and trying to get to 180-200. Will I have to worry about excess skin? I work out 5 days a week and run 5 days a week as well, and most things I've read say it's good to get muscle as you lose weight which is what I've been doing but I'm still worried about excess skin.
