Ex- HS Jock, College Frat Guy Now

5'9" 183 lbs Male 21 yrs old. I have gained 15 pounds since HS.

I have high blood pressure, need to lose 30 pounds.

I do 20 mins on the eliptical, and a 40 min full body exercise 3 times a week, lifting 4x8, 5x5, and 3x12 , and I lift heavy. Right now during the summer the temptation to get blased with college buddies is minimal so my alcohol intake is lower.

I would like to become lean, and not so bulky with that extra layer of fat.

I really eat pretty healthy, but find times when I really just gorge and eat out of boredom. I usually have Kashi crunch in the morning, coffee, turkey sandwich hold mayo for lunch, and chicken and vegtables for dinner.

I need help any suggestions, I just cant lose the weight?
 
Eating healthy is one thing.. but if you aren't accurately measuring portion sizes then you will not lose weight -

Keep track fo your calories using something like and get a set of measuring cups or even better a food scale and keep track of portions..
 
And welcome! Its hard to stay fit during school... you might try to get some of you Frat friends on board and you can work out together and help support and motivate one another...
