Ever Had This Feeling???

I have just started living a healthier lifestyle. For the third time, but I will stick with it this time. I am scared as all about stroke, diabetes, heart trouble, etc. I also want to lose this gut.

Anyway, a few days ago, I was eating some pretty unhealthy snacks and so forth and drinking soft drinks. You get the idea. It seems like that stuff made me feel (I MEAN "REALLY" FEEL) crappy. The thing is I am drinking water and unsweetened tea and eating better and I still feel crappy after I eat.

Should I detoxify or something to that effect?

What do you all think?

Thanks.

Crappy as in nauseous or crappy as in depressed? I know that if you've been trying really hard to diet, and then one day you pig out, afterwards it can seem pretty depressing. If thats the case, then try to set positive goals that can make you feel good if you've eaten healthily for a certain amount of time.

If its nauseous, then perhaps you ate too much unhealthy food at once. I mean, its called unhealthy for a reason. When something like that happens to me, a couple large, cool glasses of water always do the trick. :)
Feel better!

Thanks for t he reply. Not really either of those, though. I think it is more of a sugar high and then crash. I just FEEL really sluggish and weighted down. Sound right? I shouldn't have to worry about it now since I am going to do better.

Thanks.

I understand what you are saying. When I am eating unhealthy, I feel weighed down and tired all the time. But, when I am eating healthy, I get depressed because junk food is my comfort zone. It's like giving up a friend. This is how I feel. I believe this is what you are saying. I detox might help short term. But, finding the reason why you over-eat, will help you better long term. (Me, too!):)

Best Wishes,

Carrie
