Enough is enough.. but when?

I don't know what my weight should be for my height. I read something online about it. It said a five foot woman should be 100 lbs, and for every inch above, add 5lbs, or every inch below, deduct 5lbs.

I'm 5'5". I should be 125lbs and this is my goal. Does this sound right?

I guess I'll see when I'm there, when I can look at myself in the mirror and think.. yeah, I like this.

But still, I'd like advice on this.

Thank you

P.S - I've lost another 2lbs this week! 153lbs, wooo.

i don't think there really is a set number, a smaller framed woman is going to weigh less than a larger framed woman... I think it's really a matter of where youo are comfortable with what you see when you look in the mirror (realistically of course)

I don't know about that, every "body" is different and carries weight different. In high school (14 years ago), I was rather slim and weighed 140 lbs. at 5'6", so I think 130 would be pushing it for me, but not another 5'6" woman, kwim?

I'm 5'6 and 137 right now... rethinking my desire to be 125. 137 seems pretty okay to me. I'm medium framed. I want to get rid of the gut and the cottage cheese so if I lose another five, it's bonus.

the time to stop is when you feel happy that youre done :)
you can change the goals all the time - if you reached 130lbs and felt happy then you could stop etc. it depends how much muscle you build along the way as well. i am 5ft2 and weigh 119 but im not overweight .. i have a low body fat percentage. i just have solid legs due to long distance running.
i think you just need to feel happy within yourself and healthy too. xx
