Well, keep working at it. Maybe focus on making one small change a week. One less glass of wine one week, taking stairs instead of elevators one week, eat about 5% less food the next, walk to somewhere that's a mile away instead of riding or driving. If you have a cheeseburger craving, eat half of one or eat one without the bun. Half a cheeseburger still tastes like a cheeseburger.
Ultimately making healthy changes _will_ translate to healthy results, and the scale can go pound sand. Don't torture yourself with what you should be doing all at once, just resolve to make a little progress eating a little less and moving a little more. I couldn't possibly have lost 60 pounds eating wheat germ and tree branch soup because I would have failed. So instead I lost 60 pounds eating bacon and shepherd's pie. Not really good for me, but as time has gone on I'm starting to eat more and more fruits and vegetables to go with it.
IOW, doing something little and being successful may work better for you than trying something dramatic and failing. Keep your chin up and keep trying.
