Elliptical Trainer Stride for Best Workout?

Hi All! At my gym, you can set the stride length on the elliptical trainers. My question is, is it a better workout with a shorter stride or a longer stride? Does anyone know the difference in what muscles are getting worked?

Use the entire range that you find comforable. So use different settings on different days and you will be sure a range of muscles are getting worked out. Larger step size will effect the hamstrings a bit more it seems.
