Eggs vs. Egg Whites

I am in a fat burning mode still, so I only eat 2 whole eggs per day. When I break myself down to the desired body fat %, I will definitely increase that.

On another note, I don't know about you all, but money isn't exactly something I'm just willing to piss away right now. I don't waste a speck of food I buy, period.
I should take this into account.
:(

Great thread!!

I've often wondered myself what the nutritional value was of the egg w/yolk vs. egg white itself.

I honestly prefer the whole thing myself! Can't eat raw eggs but I make some mean scrambled eggs! LOL!

I make some mean scrambled eggs myself.

Eggs, milk, fresh crushed pepper, some cholula hot sauce and some mexican mix cheese. delicious.

it's funny. I consider myself a good cook in general...but of all the things I make, my gf (she also enjoys other meals i prepare) just loves my eggs. whenever she's over, thats the only thing she wants for breakfast.

Raw Whole eggs all the way!
Nothing wrong with getting all the great nutrients they provide into your body.

Eggs Rock! I like mine either scrambled or omelet style.

What do you call an excited LT-Hen?

Hen-thusiastic! Baby!.........And he steps forward to wake his inner-spirit up!

Poultry in motion can create quite the commotion! :jump1:

On FRY-day, The Lt-Hen, leaves the shell station to EGGS-plore his problem:

At the quack of dawn, he spiced up his health with severe EGG-ERCISE!

And, this took him to school to get EGG-UCATED, and he kept yelling and EGG-ed himself on!

Yea! :)

He kept telling himself:

Always keep yourself EGG-ucated, EGG-ercise regularly, and you always keep yourself EGG-ed UP!

EGG-sactly!

LT-------became so EGG-ed up, he became Eggs-traterrestrial with ROCK ON syndrome, he became scrambled with motivation for life!

The Eggs-traordinary LT-Hen, baby! ;)

ROCK ON! HE, he, he,

oh......:)

Much peace and happiness to all! Yes....spread the SH@t!

Let the feeling wrap you deep inside! Feel it!

I enjoyed that!
Haha..:costumed5:

Its cool to get Egged.

I like Parmesan and other types of cheeses and home fresh tomatoes with my omelets. I usually have eggs about 3 to 4 times per week; however, I usually stick with Turkey, Chicken, Very Lean Beef, and Fish, for my main protein sources. Sometimes I drink Whey Protein Powder drink, but its not often. I like getting my nutrition from whole foods.

Best regards,

Chillen

Yes! That's the best way to go..

Love it!

This thread is awesome... not only does it help someone realize the nutritional value of the egg but it sounds like we have some awesome recipe ideas as well! LOL

What do you do to your eggs that makes them so special, firefreak? They must be good ;)

Exactly what you listed. I also cook them with love. That must be where the exceptional taste comes from.

Seriously though, not overcooking them is a big piece. Ya gotta remember that eggs will continue to cook for a bit even after you remove them from the pan. I mix the pepper in before I pour the eggs/milk mix into the pan and cook that all together. As the eggs warm I add the hot sauce and then right before they are finished cooking i throw on the cheese to melt it in. mmmm. I know whats for breakfast tomorrow. :):cook:

It must be the love ;)

I always undercook my eggs. I prefer them a bit on the sloppy side anyway :D
