I have a very active social life and I'm in sales - so I'm constantly bombarded with opportunities to drink. I've been between jobs for the last 4 weeks (starting my new job on Monday), so I've been using that time to focus on my fitness and weight loss goals and have become somewhat of a hermit in order to accomplish those goals. But realistically, I need my friends and my job, so I will now have to start participating in those activities again.
My question is - how much is TOO much and will sabatoge my goals? For example, say I went out with my friends one night a week and kept my drinks to 3 or less. Will that do any significant damage to my weekly goal?
What advice do others here have about how you manage socializing and maintaining goals?

Don't sweat it. Remember also if you went out you most likely more active than if you had sat on the couch or read in bed. They may help a little. I don't know the numbers but going to a club or similar always wears me out so there has to be some calorie burn there.
