Edgar's Thread

Well guys since now im giving it my 150 percent to working out and aiming for my goal of being in good shape ill be updateing this thread and making I guess like my personal diary.
I would like for people to give me tips or what not. Ill post pics soon but here is what I got so far and my plan for the next 8 weeks while I try to get to a max of 315 on the bench which would make it 3 plates of 45's on each side and building more muscle mass.

I have more fat around my belly area which im really trying to read on and cutting down alot of fatty foods but still eating 6 small meals througout the day and working out 5 times a week.

Some of my goals
Get rid of belly fat and form a nice shape around that area
build my shoulders alot more to catch up with my chest
build more bicep and tricep
get use to eating better and cut down on fast food

By doing all this it will just make me feel better all around.

Hi there!

Why don't you go to the diary section and do this thread in there? Or ask a moderator to move this thread over there.

About the violence and intensity part: always remember moderation. You'll raise the risk of injury by lots if you intentionally try to psych up alot more than what comes sub-consiously (provided that you don't have probs with your adrenaline gland, i.e., with getting psyched up).

Second, about the leg day: I call it 175 degree day. :)

But do whatever fits your needs, and have good luck with it!

Weight isn't everything. Don't forget about good form. Putting up 315 lbs is a great goal, but if you don't have good form while doing it you won't get maximum muscle gains and will end up hurting yourself. A big overweight guy with a huge beer belly might be able to throw up a lot of weight on the bench press, but who cares. Stay more focused on your body fat %, your measurements, and how you look in the mirror. How much you can bench press is just macho talk. Looking great speaks for itself and is proof of your hard work.
