Eating after 6PM

I know it's always a good idea not to eat after around 6-7PM as your body is starting to wind down from the day and more likely to store fat, etc., but what if you are on a dif. sleep schedule and don't go to bed until roughly 2-2:30AM? Would it be ok to eat later if that's the case (and wake up around 10AM)

thats fine, but try to keep the carbs to a minimum. Unless, of course your working or something then you should eat, but again in moderation.

Yea it's perfectly fine to eat before sleeping, but you don't want any carbs in you since the body doesn't need them while sleeping. Instead, keep your late meals high in protein.

At the end of the day (no pun intended) your entire daily caloric deficit is what is going to determine weight loss or gain.

yea i just got off of work (Star Wars late show ended about 12:30 am) and im eating a huge salad with chicken and stuff in it.(no tomatoes or onions, etc.)

It's actually good to eat some casein protein before bed. Its a slow absorbing protein, so it stays with you longer during the night.
