If you want to lose weight, put an eye on what you eat, how you eat and when you eat. Does it sound complex and dark? I clarify it now. You should have more frequent, smaller meals instead of large meals. As usual, we have large meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, now just make them smaller and eat them more frequently. It will help you to boost your metabolism - an important part affects the weight loss and the meals are easier to digested, so you feel more energy, you move more, burn more and lose more. When you eat, stop thinking about everything except your foods. Enjoying your meal will make your body sense that it is feed and it curbs appetite. So what we should eat, should not eat? Having an active lifestyle plays an important role in easy weight loss for teens. Don’t throw aside the idea to practice some activity! It is nice to sit in front of the computer or to watch TV, but if you continue to do that you will stay fat teen! Dieticians say that to lose weight, we should make the calories we burn greater than the calories we intake. You should have at least an hour for workout or for your favorite sport. Um...I'm addicted to coffee and...I'm still losing weight. I drink 2-3 cups a day and um...it doesnt' seem to be 'fattening' me. I'm almost offended...almost.

it's not the coffee - :D

the coffee supresses the urge to eat the tasty treats in the coffee shop - it's the sugar and the milks and theother stuffs they put in the coffee (like kahula and baileys and jamesons) that's the problem.. but then i get drunk on the coffee and the appetite supression thing goes out the window...

How do they figure that one? coffee is supposed to suppress my appetite.. i drink 2 pots a day... I'm always hungry :D

You and me both. Haha. I drink my coffee with only cinnamon, so I'm assuming this is why I have no issue gaining weight from it. Still, I'm hungry regardless of whether or not I drank coffee...
 
I don't know about coffee. seems like you'd just end up with another addiction- to caffeine.

Teenagers are difficult to deal with due to some issues being of a more delicate nature when you approach them. Weight gain is one of them. My niece and nephew are "obese" teenagers and my whole family has tried to help my sister help her children.

An adolescent's self-esteem can be shattered so easily and one has to remember that when assisting them to look at their weight and potential health problems. Fad diets are not the answer and we don't feel that they should undergo surgery. We continue to help them to make good food choices and increase activity daily and pray for them.
