Don't know where to start...

 Hi everyone. Basic information about me is that I'm 16, 5'11, and 153 LBs.. I am looking to overall lose weight around my midsection because I feel that I have a gut ( :( ) and I REALLY want to get rid of it. Problem is, I'm the kind of person that needs an organized plan before executing it. I don't want to waste my time with an exercise program that I think will work when it's really not what I should have been doing in the first place (thus wasting a lot of time).. I also want to get ripped. Hey, who doesn't? But I feel like I should first lose the gut and lower my overall body fat % (which I do not know what my BMI is).. I think I eat pretty healthy, so commiting to a diet shouldn't be a problem (I just need a SET one first).

Bottom line is, I'm a kid looking for a good program or someone who can point me in the right direction because I really have no idea where to start.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I forgot to add that my lower abs I guess you could say (don't know the exact name). But pretty much the muscle that is below the belly button (and under it I guess you could say) is literally bulging so I really need some help getting rid of it because it looks weird and I want to lose weight and start a workout routine!! Thanks!!

It would take an hour to type out everything you need to know in detail. Your best bet is to explore this site, read the "stickies" at the tops of forums. Basically, you need a good full body workout 3 times a week, with HIIT, some steady state runs, and STRICT nutrition. Read around the forums, then post back up what you are going to be eating and what you will be doing in the gym. Everything you need is on this site...

Do what MarkMyWords said, take a few days to learn all you can about nutrition and workout routines. Read the HIIT faq. Make your own plan, and then post what your normally eat in a day, and your plan. It is much easier for people to correct you then take the time to make a whole plan.

So if you need a plan to get your plan, here you go.

1) Read every sticky on these forums. Key here: Weight loss and HIIT.

2) Do you eat healthy? Explore the nutrition board.

3) After reading HIIT, look into lifting. Research compound lifts, and FBW's.

4) Ask questions on the first 3.

5) Come back at us with your detailed daily diet plan, and workout schedule.

From there you can be put on the right track.

Good luck :D
