So.. I wanted to do as it says on the tin, and introduce myself.

I'm me, someone with an organism determined to be problematic in the sense that I have a social fobia and depression managed by pills.. the reason for writing this is that I have recently discovered that exercising and getting the nutrients I need improves my condition more than sitting on my ass watching sci-fi and eating junkfood (I know, I will probably win some sort of prize for this groundbreaking discovery) And well... Besides that I'm a sort of weirdo basement genious type so i gather a bazillion tons of knowledge and them computes a plan of action, and this forum has been immensely helpful in gathering all that data :), now I'll never give up bad scifi but I am beginning a journey of improving both my physical and mental health (as if those two doesn't go hand in hand) and I figured I'd sign up and such :)

So.. yeah.. hi all and thanks for tons of good advice and well.. tis a pleasure to be here :)

Hi Me. You're interesting. Glad you could join us and I do look forward to learning more about you.

Welcome :) I'm with Steve, you sound a little like me and I look forward to your contributions here and perhaps learning from each other.

What a warm welcome, thank you :) I hope I can eventually contribute and help people as much as I've been helped just by reading here. I think the most useful thing about me is my healthy skepticism and my ability to consume abhorrent amounts of data :p I can be the local calculatron!

Healthy skepticism is something dieters by and large need more of. I'm a nerd, too. At least when it comes to exercise physiology and nutrition. :)

Welcome! Yay for nerds!

I'm a music and gaming nerd. Glad to have you! Next time I need help calculating percentages, I'll call on you!

hah yeh.. the world in general needs more skepticism. I guess I am a bit biased since a wonderful "doctor" of homeopathy slash crystal healer (go figure) tried to convince my aunt who has diabetes (the real one) that she should get off the insuline since she could become addicted to it ;)

Hey welcome to the forum. I'm a nerd of sorts myself! I love gaming and anime. Though lately my focus has been the TV and my million shows I love to watch (especially weight loss ones). It's pretty bad when you're watching those shows thinking, I should be doing what they're doing, but not getting around to doing it.

What are your stats? Weight, goal weight, etc?

Good luck on you're weight loss!
