Ok as some of you know, I lost weight on my pneumonia diet. I went from 257 to 243. Now I have a theory that suggests that my weight loss is more related to change in pattern than me being sick.
Why? I have fasted before. I have fasted for a week and a half only to lose 2-3 lbs. This sickness basically was a forced fast for even shorter period of time than the intentional fasts I did years ago and I lost 14 lbs. I think the fast was insignificant.
My theory is that I lost the weight because I changed my routine. I was working out harder than I have in over 5 years and losing very little weight. I stopped for a week and though my lungs were getting torn up at that time, my muscles were recovering.
So, if this is correct, then my theory is that my body can best benefit from a 3 weeks on 1 week off intense workout routine and I can expect to lose the most weight during my recovery week.
However, I'm ignorant on this subject... so does my theory hold water guys?
Thanks
