Does this sound like a good diet to lose weight?

1 slice of wheat bread 60 cal
Dole fruit cup 80 cal
Bottle of water flavored with crystal lite fruit punch 5 cal

Lunch- 2 slices of fat free roasted turkey 45 cal
2 slices of wheat bread 110 cal
salad with romaine lettuce and fat free italian dressing 50 cal

Snack- Coconut popsicle-all natural fruit 120 cal

Dinner- Frozen entree, Schrazegean noodles 280 cal
 
No, the calorie intake is too low. Try not to cut your intake so much. Remember, slow and steady stays off.

In addition, I do not see any milk products at all...so that would be something to consider adding. You have the majority of your calories coming from carbohydrates and this diet would also not provide enough protein or essential fats.

However, you can modify it to be a good diet. Increase the number of egg whites, and perhaps make them with some low fat cheese. Have a glass of milk in the morning instead of flavored water. Have snacks of fruit or nuts. Include some fruit in your lunchtime meal, and perhaps a yogurt as well. Have a non-processed supper, as the one you listed is likely very high in sodium (which can impede weight loss). You can easily make a stir fry using any sort of veggies you like, lean cuts of meat/fish/chicken, spices, a bit of olive oil, and serve it over brown rice or whole wheat noodles...it will taste much better and be better for you.
