Does feeling hungry at night....

i tried drinking water before going to sleep so i wont feel hungry. its effective. If your normal bowl of cereal is a family size bowl, cut it down to a cereal size bowl. "Portion size"! We need to eat to have energy and we need to exercise and drink lots of water.

It would probably be helpful to know how much the 'more' you eat is on the days you work out or just eat more though. It's amazing how many calories seemingly small things can add. ... I

I used to try the not eating after 6 (or 7) thing. I would end up loading up before my time limit hit. Then I would have massive breakfasts - looking back these were like 800-1200 calories. This was before I understood what "calories" were. When I did this I was completely missing the point.

I love eating with my evening TV watching after a good workout. So I save some calories for that.

Most of you are still young and need more food, because you exercise more and most of you stay on the go. My exercise consist mostly of walking with DVDs and exercises that I made up for me. When I was younger, I walked about 8 miles a day and I went to the gym. You may gain, but it may be muscle gain, if you work with a lot of weights.

Just fine what works for you and stay with it. But we all need to eat healthy food and drink plenty of water and other liquids.

You absolutely need more than 600 calories a day to survive long-term, avoid disease, and be generally healthy. Vitamins are not calories. You need more calories.

I understand that there is a lot of pressure, especially on us as girls, to be skinny and constantly be on more and more extreme diets. I'm glad you're on here and trying to do things the right way. That's why I'm on here too.

But just so you know, 600 calories a day is in a range that most people and mental health professionals would consider anorexic. A girl your size and age (I read your profile) shouldn't go under 1200-1500 calories a day. This doesn't mean you are insane or twisted or wrong, it just means you probably have bigger issues than your physical weight loss to deal with. Trust me, if you face those demons, the weight loss will fall into place. You don't need to check yourself in anywhere or be put into a hospital, but you do need to consider seeing a therapist or counselor. If you need any help finding one, please message me.

And for the record, you WILL gain weight when you start eating at a healthy level again. That is an unavoidable reality. But that's ok. Sometimes there are more important things than weight loss. Who cares if you gain weight? I guarantee you will still look better than if you were dead. And you'll still be at a weight many people would kill to be at. And once you get there, you can exercise your way back down to the size you'd like to be. At the very least try it and see if your body feels healthier.

AWhen I wake up on a night feeling hungry I will have a slice of bread then go back to bed and sleep.
If I dont do this I usually stop awake all night.
Its better to be healthy than thin.
