Does anyone have a "goal outfit?"

I was just wondering if there is anyone in the forum who have some sort of goal outfit? For example a pair of jeans, a tshirt a suit, bathing suit.....

I DO lol ive wanted a pair of william rast jeans (Justin Timberlakes brand) for the longest time! Unfortunatly Justin doesnt seem too think that he should carry sizes over 31! lol so my goal is to be able to buy a pair of those lol :D

Ive always wanted designer brand jeans, but those stupid companys DONT cater to chubby individuals which makes me MAD! :eek:
 
I don't have a goal outfit in mind, because I really don't know what my final goal is - I'll know it when I get there.. I do however, buy something a size smaller than i currently am and keep that as a visual for me -and try it on once a week - until it fits...

I will go to stores like Marshalls, TJMaxx or Nordstrom Rack (stores that carry designer type merchandise at discounted prices) and check the clearance racks for my next motivating outfit..
 
Thats a good idea!! Buy clothes that are smaller so you can work towards getting them to fit! Thats great motivation!! im SO doing that!!
 
I have a cute pair of size 12 jeans hanging on my wall I plan to be in them before the end of the year.

and the bonus is you get something new to wear pretty quickly rather than waiting months and months..

Yes!!! Same here. As a matter of fact, I ran into Old Navy to buy a green t-shirt to wear to work tomorrow. It's Field Day, I teach all the sophomores, and am basically on the sophomore team (green). Anyway, I couldn't resist trying on a pair of pants, so I did. I tried on a pair of size 14 khakis and they actually fit, a bit snug, but they fit and they didn't look like they were cutting off my circulation. Anyway, I was so pleased, I decided to buy myself two pair of new pants; I got a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of black pants I can wear to work, both of which are a size 12. No, no, they don't fit me now, but they will, hopefully, by Thanksgiving. I am soooo excited! Uh, I haven't been a size 12 since I was 12 or 13 years old. Wooo!
 
OooOooOh I like this thread. I have two "goal outfits" in mind.

1. BCBG black wrap dress than tapers to just below the knee pencil skirt like bottom with my BCBG 5" open toed stilettos.

2. Low rise leather boot cut (jeans style) pants (size 10), fitted leather vest, hip wrapped bullet belt, and my ho heels! LOL (photoshoot outfit)
