hello every one this is my first time on any kind of forum so here it goes. So I am 29 years old I currently weigh 218 an am 5'2" I am a mother of three and well I'm really just tired of being big. I've been trying to eat right and exercise and well I feel really good right now i have lost 5lbs. in the last 2weeks but just felt this would be a good place to share common goals with others so anyway my question is during my brakes @work I go for walks and when I come back I have tingling on my legs it goes away in a few min. but does that happen to others?

It's normal. In my guess all that it is, just the increased blood flow to parts of your body that require more, obviously since you're exercising. It could be your muscles expanding and moving and what not.

I have almost the same thing except when I run my legs become very itchy. It's just something you have to push through and eventually it should go away.

Hi Mina,

I have experienced the same sensation after I go walking or running. I am inclined to believe that it is normal and is due to an increased blood flow to the area. However, I am not an expert :)

The tingling you are experiencing is not increased blood flow. It is a nerve pinch in your spinal cord that runs down your leg from the impact of the exercise.

Once you lose weight it will go away (unless there is a more serious medical issue at hand). I personally have never experienced this but it is a common ailment in clients with an appreciable amount of weight to lose who are sedentary.
