Next year I want to be able to reach my goal of 80kg or at least 85kg.
I am also aiming to build a really good chest and shoulders.

What's yours?

totaly.

too be looking and feeling good by the end of it! to give it my all and find out what i can personaly achieve in a year!.

i want too get my max benchpress up from 80kg too 100kg

max deadlift up from 100kg too 140kg

and see some abs for the first time in my life.

i have no idea if i will reach any of these goals, but i will give it my all, regardless of what progress i make making it too the end of the year trying my very best would make me dead proud.

You should do very well with this, as you have set yourself some very clear and realistic goals. Try hard and you will get there. As you indicated, even if you don't quite get there, you can be proud of your efforts - this will help you remain motivated. Good luck for 2009!

To be at a healthy and manageable weight (170-180, only 25 more pounds to lose :)) and to be able to run a half marathon (already up to around 7 miles for my max run)

I really want to learn more!!

Might sound stupid, but I want to really focus on a few subjects and really build my knowldege on them . By subjects I mean music (self taught on guitar, really wanna learn how to read music, and understand all the theory behind it) and also look into starting to learn a new language..possibly Japanese, love the culture, and hoping to travel there sometime in the near future :)

And also to keep up the healthy lifestyle I now have :)

I want to continue on this weight loss journey. I want to permanently lose the weight I've lost and continue losing more. I want to be happy and healthy.

There's other stuff that I want to get done too -- the list is long.

I want to be at my goal weight for my birthday, so I can wear tight leather pants and a halter top. (It's June 28th)

Absolutely! I want to add 8-10 pounds of muscle onto my teeny frame by the end of 2009 :)

Steve has already cautioned me on this, but I figure with the amount of atrophy I've had from my injuries, and the fact muscle has memory, I should be able to add at least 5 pounds of muscle in 3 months' time :D

Yes, I'm delusional. But I love the world I live in ;)

my primary goals are lifting goals

Deadlift up from 130 to 170 kg
Squat up from 135 to 165 kg
Bench from 75 to 85 (by End of March) 95 by end of year
go one better than 2008 and Qualify for National titles

Loose 8.5 kg (1 weight division)
finish studying with good marks

In regards to the weight? Losing those last few lbs to get to 155. Tighten, tone, strengthen, sculpt, shape, etc.

Others:
Get certified in TIG welding stainless steel
perhaps find a different job in the welding field
improve my photography skills
paint more in 09 than I did in 08

Finish My associates degree (with a 3.6+ gpa, currently at 3.86).
Lose 50 lbs.
Get bench up to 160 lbs (at 105)
Deadlift up to 190 lbs (at 115)
Be able to do 5 Unnassisted Chin-ups. (I did 8 on the second to last assisted setting =P)
Be able to do 30 push-ups. (I can do anywhere from 0 to 5 -- no idea why it fluctuates, not even talking after work-outs)

I want to commit to changing and to having a healthier lifestyle
I want to wear a bathing suit with confidence this summer

Oh how I love the day before the new year...so many hopes and expectations. Theres always the little voice in your head that says "this could be the year"...I hope thats true for all of us here!
Happy New Year!

Nope.

The new year to me is just another day.

My goals are in place on a continual basis.
