Do you ever have a meal not on your diet?

Just curious, Do you guys ever have a meal thats not considered good food to eat like go out to outback steakhouse or some other restuarant? Im thinking i might have a meal out once a week. Nothing like mcdonalds or anything but something along the lines of fazoli's, Outback steakhouse, Applebee's. Im thinking if i think of everything as forbidden i'll never stick to a diet but do you think once a week is bad? Maybe it would be less of a problem if i exercised more that day.
 
I do exercise that day, but not any more than usual. Usually my "cheat" meal falls on saturday or sunday Those days are workout days in my schedule. Usually what happens though, is I eat WAY too much sodium and gain a few lbs of water weight.
 
I reckon you should have a cheat meal a week. I means your will power gets a break too. However, your cheat meal doesn't have to be entirely unhealthy every week. A decent steak can be great for you with veg.

Also, my sunday roast is a classic with yorkshire pud, roast sweet potato and a plate of roasted veg in my speciality gravy.
 
Another issue is that i dont really deny myself anything out of my life. If i fancy a really juicy burger i dont even like mcdonalds. I make it myself, sometimes even the burger itself, from decent quality mince.

Just curious, Which kind of fat free cheese do you use? I have the kraft fat free right now.
 
what cut of beef do you use for your roast fathom? We usually just get the cheap stuff and cook it in the crockpot, Do you cook yours in that or the oven?
 
hmm, if anybody has heard of golden corral.....yeah.....is it bad that i stuff myself like a friggin...i mean my god i go off at golden corral, but is it bad that i dont eat the rest of the day? i dont do excercise on that day either. oh and its not a regular thing to go stuff myself at golden corral...you know a buffet is like winning the lottery. i cant lie, i love food. all you can eat steaks, mashed potatoes, sorry. *drools* shrimp night is great
 
I feel really bad cause i ate like 4 slices of pizza and like 10 kc masterpeice bbq chips. It didnt even feel right eating it cause i knew it wasn't good for me. Im hoping i dont gain like 2 pounds by tommarow :(
 
beleive it or not, people gain weight and lose weight all the time, without ever noticing it. its natural. and nobody notices, so dont get discouraged, and keep on with the diet and excercise.
 
i have a cheat meal once or twice a week. we went eat tonight at a local mexican place. jumbo margritas were two for one. :p
 
You guys wanna hear something weird? I was 227.5 before i ate the pizza yesterday and now im 225! i wonder if i havent been geting enough calories or something.
