do these gazelles work?

I know I am posting this in pretty much every forum... but do these work:

I need to lose 20 lbs mostly on my lower half, a bit on my tummy, and a little from my upper arms. I'm a woman by the way if that matters. I can't go to the gym enough for cardio and can afford this machine, but I don't want to buy something that will make me have deformed legs and buns or not work at all.

I would not know if it works or not, but the results are no different from walking or running. Save your money either way and get a good pair of running shoes and get outside.

Try HIIT with a jump rope or some other stationary exercise like bends and thrusts or mountain climbers. Or a good rowing machine. I've never tried a gazelle, but given the way they are advertised on TV infomercials I'd be very skeptical!

Exercise is exercise. You don't need a machine. All you need is persistence and a willingness to resist what feels good now to get what feels good later. If you don't have that, no machine in the world will help you. If you do, all you need is yourself. Find something simple,as suggested by others here. I like riding my bike, boxing (just get a punching bag and pound on it to music, very good stress relief...of course, I'm a trained muay thai fighter, so maybe it's not as fun for just anyone? heh heh), skipping, any kind of exercise at all. There are lots of things you can do indoors. Run up and down the stairs! Or walk if you're new to exercise.
