Discusting Bellyfat

Hey! A couple of years ago, I was really fit & playing tennis and stuff.
Then I stopped..became lazy. But I still didn't become fat or anything. It wasn't until i got a gymcard and bought some kind of protein which obviously was made for real bodybuilders that train heavy. For me that became bellyfat instead. It's really UGLY. I'm 177 cm long and weigh 77 kilos.

Since then I've trained a lot but still no difference. Now I have started to play again and will maybe also get a gym card (but no proteins). What I've read so far it seems a good diet will help you lose fat.

But I have NO IDEA how to calculate the calories I'm eating and how to reduce it. I still live at home, so I'm not cooking the food. I just eat whenever I want to, lol. Sometimes I can eat 3-4 times a day, sometimes just 1.

Please help me out =)

Couple things you can do, cardio, just staying active is great, playing tennis or whatever is all good stuff. Generally speaking you should never eat only 1 meal a day, optimally aim for 4-6 smaller meals a day of healthy food. You can find out calories in foods from online, or on the nutritional information on the pack or whatever. Protein is great, and is in no way meant only for hardcore bodybuilders, you just have to look at the nutritional information on it. There are protein shakes with 700+ calories in them, and there are protein shakes with 120. And if they're whey protein they should typically be consumed before and/or after working out. Fact is, if you want to lose weight it takes hard work, cardio, and most importantly a good diet. Watch portion control and figure out a basic idea of what foods are healthy vs unhealthy.
