Differences in Size/Measurements while losing weight

ty for the reply, canuckerjay :)

I lost a lot my first few weeks because I was dive bombing, eating way too few calories and working out like a fiend. It was unsustainable, and really stupid. I was also sick with bacterial bronchitis (NOT fun) for over a month, and lost quite a bit the first three weeks I was down with that. It sucks that even though the scale may read a lower number, I know that the reason I lost the weight is because my body was fighting that off. It wasn't fat loss and muscle maintenance/gain. Lately I've been working on getting myself up to doing the mixture of walking and jogging I had worked up to before I was sick.

I'm resurrecting this thread to give an update.

At my heaviest (360lbs) I wore size 3X or 4X shirts and 48 pants. I'm now down to 250 and am wearing XL shirts and 40/42 pants (depending on the brand and cut). Unfortunately, losing weight hasn't taken anything off my hat size; I think I'm doomed to just have a huge head! I've gone from wearing wide shoes to normal width (D) shoes. If anyone else wants to post on their differences in measurements, or ask questions about anything pertinent to that, I'd appreciate your posting it here in case there are others who are curious about that!

Wow thats excellent! I can probably give you an idea of the next step for you.

I was 223lbs 5'11'' I wore 38" jeans, a 17.5'' neck for dress shirts and XL shirts/t-shirts etc.

I am now 210 and I can fit in to a pair of 36'' jeans that were very tight on me but now feel like a good fit. I wore a 17'' neck dress shirt yesterday for the first time in a couple of years :) and I am between the XL and L shirts.

Feeling like I am between an XL and L right now. Maybe another 5 or 10lbs and Ill be a large.

As for hat size... some folks just have big heads :) I dont expect that when I hit my goal hats will fit me any better :)
