like many in this forum, i want to lose weight and make myself look better, but i am very impatient in this process...i usually think of eating a meal as cheating on
my diet...heres an example, i have a bowl of cereal in the morning (300 calories), come home from school and have another bowl of cereal (at 2:30), and when its about 4:00 some cravings hit and i want ot eat again, but i feel its too early cuz its before dinner time, but if i choose to eat something i immediately drop the diet for the day cuz i ate something at a time i shoudlnt have...ive heard of course to spread meals out throughout the day, 5-6 meals a day, but how am i supposed to do that and still have less than 1500 when im used to having larger amounts for each meal...that would equal to about 300 calories per meal, which could be a single protein bar, or a bowl of cereal...i feel like i failed my diet if i go over about 1000 calories just because it feels like i ate too much...how much should i have calorie-wise to lose around 3 pounds a week? i feel that if i dont eat very small amounts of food each few hours that im not doing a diet right, someone help me think of a way to have a good diet that still allows me a good amount of food and still low calories...o ya, also im 14, 170 pounds, and 5' 8''
