I've recently changed my diet to something that looks similar to this:
Breakfast:
Low fat milk
75g high fibre cereal
30g protien powder
snacks x2:
high fibre bread (the stuff that looks like burnt toast)
Salad sandwich, with meats, (usually salmon), and rarely eggs
Lunch:
Brown rice
vegetables (a bit of soya sauce)
Dinner:
Meat, Vegetables and a roast potato
OR
Stir fry, with white pasta
*After training a tablespoon of honey
Sorry I dont have exact measurements, but i eat a decent amount of food per meal if not too much food.
I do a week of power lifting (4) and long distance running (5), then in the second week is strength lifting (5) with HIIT (4), with the weekend off.
I would like to know if this is good enough for getting into a professional athlete's build, and I've been thinking about switching to a Mass gainer powder instead of the Protein powder.
Also, could someone suggest a pre-game meal, for 4 hours before a game (I usually dont eat on the day - because i usually throw up if i eat something within 4 hours of the warmup drills) I've heard fruit smoothies are good but that was from a mate.
