Well hello to everyone out there. I am a 37 year old from South Shore Mass who is STUCK at a weight and will be looking for help/ideas to making my weight loss goals. About 3 years ago I was 348lbs (6'2") and about as unhealthy as a human could be. A major change needed to take place in my life before I stroked. As it happened it wouldn't take long for me to find the event in my life necessary to get my buttox in gear. I had some issues with gout and during a doctors visit a blood pressure test turned into a 15 minute lecture from my doctor about my health, how long I wanted to live for, and what medications he was going to put me on to control my blood pressure. I was 35 and in no way ready to be taking those kinds of medications so something else had to change. I immediately made a radical change in my lifestyle. I joined a gym and went 5 days a week, overhauled my diet and stuck to it religiously and dropped 110lbs over the next 8-9 months. Everything fell back in line with my health and my life was far more happy and healthy.
Forward a couple years... I have relaxed my diet slightly (I do mean slightly) and because of a couple relationships and time restraints I have went from 5 days to just the random visit to the gym. This has led to a weight gain of about 30lbs. Now I am on the road to removing the weight again before I have to start buying clothes again.
My motivation is high, My devotion is unfaltering, my weight loss is pathetic! I know this isn't where I ask questions in the forum so I will post questions elsewhere but that is a pretty accurate description to why I am here. I look forward to hearing, sharing, and hopefully loosing weight with all of you!
