Desperately need motivation!

Just thought I would say hi - I'm keeping my weight loss goals private and it's not something I feel comfortable talking about with my family, for various reasons, so I thought visiting a forum might help keep me accountable.

I've been slightly overweight my whole life but I went through a really tough time a few months ago and gained so much weight that I actually have horrible stretch marks from it. The problem is, I'm still so depressed that I'm really lacking the motivation to get healthy even though I know it's for the best. I'm hoping that just by forcing myself to get into the habit of working out and being healthy that I will want to keep going but I'm not hopeful. I've only ever lost weight before when I've been super motivated to do so. So I'm hoping for the best!

I've had a healthy day so far today. My goal is to eat healthy for the rest of the week plus early next week and start going to the gym as soon as my last exam of undergrad is out of the way. Wish me luck!
