If you like soups as much as I do, try Campbell's Soup-At-Hand. I like them because I'm one of those people who loves salty stuff, and it's nice to have something quick and hot when you're eating a bunch of cereal and salads the rest of the time.

All you have to do is microwave them and sip like a mini-thermos. Most of the soups are lowfat (except Creamy Chicken! found that out today) and really, really good. Plus they're filling and they're made to be sipped, so they make a great between-meals or after-dinner snack if you're one of those people who succumbs to late night hunger. Since I eat a light dinner before I go to the gym, I'm usuall ravenous by ten. I know you're not supposed to eat after six, but sometimes I just have to have a little something.

The Beef Vegetable that I'm having right now is only 60 calories and 1 gram of fat. It's *so* yummy. :drool5:

the downside to them is that they are really high in sodium...

Eating after 6 is a myth actually -it's the total calories in the day that matter, not when you eat them... PLan your day around having a snack in the evening and no harm done at all.

I personally think there is some truth to eating later makes you gain weight. I know the later I eat the more the scale says the next day.

You can't gain fat overnight anyway, thats a process that occurs after a few days.

I wouldn't go near ANY soups that aren't salt reduced, most cans have enough sodium for two days.

Making your own soups is a lot healthier, cheaper and less salt.

Yeah, it's really good. Like the above posters said, there is a lot of salt in them, but I drink a *lot* of water throughout the day (easily 42-56 oz. and probably more) so I go around hoping that kind of counterbalances it.

Plus, if you're a salt addict like me (I never crave sweet stuff!), better to get your salt from a source with less than 2 grams of fat, rather than french fries. :D
