Day one

I want to say hi to everyone. I have been on a diet for the past 18 years. I have tried them all. I am at my highest weight ever. I believe that I have hit bottom. My lowest ever. The first day is almost over. I did well today. I had about 1800 calories (healthy eating) and a mile long walk. Feeling alot better than this morning.

wow good on you. One day at a time is the way to take it. And eating a healthy amount works too.

Often we see people comming on here with unrealistic ideas that just set them up for failure. I can see you are clearly not one of these and are on your way to sucess :)

do start a diary so we can hear all about day two, three and forward.. ;0 it's a great place to get support and record victories and challenges...
