Rob and LaMaria it sounds like different stokes for different folks (LOL). I like KFC because that's the only fast food place I could get real grilled chicken breast and green beans. I also enjoy the coleslaw, but that's a higher calorie intake. For my husband and I there are just days we are going to eat out. Mainly because if he had a long day, he doesn't feel like cooking and I am definitely not cooking when I come home from work. There are times when I do cook for several days to have something to eat when I come home or I'll have some type of salad for me to eat, but that's again on the days I actually have the energy and motivation to do so.
Sunday was actually a work at home day for me. I have a lot of notes to complete. My son came by later that evening and we watch a movie and a few shows together. My goal was to walk that evening, but it didn't happen. I know the mornings are the best time for me to exercise; I am focused and motivate in the mornings. My only challenge with working out in the morning is when I start doing something else, it's hard for me to change me focus; mostly because I want to finish the task I started. That's usually why, I go exercise before doing anything in the morning. However, today I am waiting on my husband to go to the gym. He is really not a morning person, so he usually plans to go to the gym later in the day, but once he starts going, he forgets about the gym. I am usually his motivation to go, but the problem for us is the time. Anyway, we are trying to compromise on the time, so we can both benefit from the gym. We are going at 10am. I am just trying to stay focus on going and not get involved in doing something else. Today, I am going to suggest we drive both vehicles because he usually finishes before I do; he doesn't mind waiting for me, but naturally I don't do everything I want to do because I know he's waiting for me.
My calorie intake yesterday was 1735 and 32 fl oz. Its still higher than I want it to be. I ended up eating my hubby's snacks. The positive is I actually grabbed 4 Oreo cookies, but only at 2. The negative is those BBQ chips. I almost made it last night.
Breakfast: bread with peanut butter, coffee with sugar and cream, peach
Lunch: 3 inch cold cut combo (subway); mixed veggies
Afternoon snack: 2 Oreo cookies
Dinner: Caesar salad, turkey burger with turkey bacon, grape juice
Evening snack: BBQ chips
I am planning to do 2 hours at the gym today to combat some of these excess calories from the last few day. However, I am unsure if I will be able to make it. I am definitely not as fatigued as last week, but I also know I'm not a 100%. I actually needed a nap yesterday. Anyway, if I can workout for 2 hours, I will be ready for my last sleep study tonight.
