dammit im still sick

it seems that ever since i have got back from my trip, i have been sick. the kids got sick, then me, then we got better and then it happened all over again. its frustrating because for one, i dont feel like eating much when im sick so i dont even know if im making my 1200-1400 calories a day and i know that is not good. plus, i have no energy to exercise with my head all stuffy and sore throat.

what vitamins or supplements is good to take to help keep me from catching everything out there?
 
eat more, itll help you recuperate, your already starving yourself. lol Sorry if you listened to me on the 1200 calorie thing.
 
i've been taking a basic Multi-Vitamin and 1000 mg of Vit C every day and i literally haven't been sick for 2 yrs ... could be a coincidence, but i'm not sure it is.
 
I agree... try finding a good multi-vitamin and also try taking extra vitamin c - if you feel a cold coming on, drink some ecinachea tea... also, don't worry so much about the calories - you need the food for energy - do it. I would try to get lots of good fruits and veggies in, and try some soups - they are quick and easy, and that in itself will help you out if you are low on energy. pair a bowl of soup with a fresh green salad and a piece of toasted bread, and it will get you back on your feet
 
thanks im better now thank goodness. i do take a multi vitamin evry day, thanks for tips.

and allcdboy, i'll bet if u had kids your track record would not be so good!
i seem to catch everything the kids bring home from school :confused:
except for the pink eye they recently all had which i did not catch because i was washing my hands like 100 times a day!

i actually have 14 kids :) ... i coach baseball 3-4 days a week ... i know it's the the same as being around a couple 24/7 ... oh well ... here's knocking on wood
 
YAY you coach baseball! That's just too awesome! I'm a big baseball/softball fan myself! Haha! You must coach the younger ones though then eh? :)
