cycling help vertical jump?

if your cycling hard enough, you should feel it. but last time i was on my bike i think it was my thighs. oh and to add, may be a coincadence, but ive biked me whole life, and my friends who bike all got ups, im short and i got ups over most people who should have ups for me, and my arms arent long either.

What will help your verticle jump is squats, jump squats, depth jumps, deadlifts, pull throughs, and a bit of calf work.
