Weight-Loss Cutting out foods, are these bad?

Weight-Loss
If you can live without them, then get rid of them! It's good that you're making a healthy change. Of course, you could eat anything on that list in moderation but the better option is to eat something with nutritional value, right? Cookies are probably my favorite but I haven't had one for a long time and I don't find it hard to keep them away from me. But if I do ever have a craving I'll try making them myself through a healthy recipe. Cheese also isn't bad, as long as it's real cheese. I recently discovered Canadian Bacon is good stuff, I had a slice today with scrambled egg whites sandwiched in a whole wheat english muffin mmMm. And if you still want to eat cereal some good options are: Kashi Go Lean, Fiber One and Raisin Bran.

And remember portion control, even when eating healthier foods!

<3 Raisin Bran. It was buy-one-get-one-free at the store, so I picked up 2. I don't usually eat cereal, but when I do, this is definitely one of my favorites. In the past month, my mom has brought a lot of Cocca Puffs, Lucky Charms, and such into the house. Great tasting, but not much nutrition to it.

I'm not finding it hard to eat some of these foods at all, but I know I am not getting enough to eat each day. I usually eat one meal (bigger than the normal meals I read on this board) and maybe a snack or two (bowl of fruit) a day.

Man, how often do people go to the store? I eat through all these fruits so quickly. Fruits don't grow on trees! :p

With the exception of cheese I dont buy any of the things on your list. The difference between us is that I didnt cut them out, I just never bought them to begin with. I dont cut things like pizza out of my diet. I plan around having it and adjust my daily meals accordingly. I dont see why you would need to cut them out unless there is something in them that your body has a negative reaction to.
