OK, well I've started cutting since school started (gained a lot of weight over the summer.) Currently at 200, started at 217-220. It's been about a month plus some, so my results seem pretty good. The thing is, I look a little slimmer, but my gut's telling me no, literally. The fat around my abs and chest hasn't decreased to a noticable amount to the eye. Any advice on how to target these areas?
Training Program:
Run 30-75 min every day (except Sunday) after school 5-7 miles.
After cardio, weight train: mostly upper body (my knees and hip are injured). Currently trying Rest Pause and adding some new workouts in. I don't really have any ab workouts, so do you guys know of any really good core-strengthening workouts; especially ones that burn fat
Forgot to mention my caloric intake. BMR is 2124.4 at my current weight. With the training I'm doing it should be from 3664.59 - 4036.4 daily. I've cut down to 2000, which I know is pushing it a little bit. Also my weight seems to fluctuate quite a lot during the day possibly because of water content. anywhere from 2 to 4 pounds from morning to evening. Currently eating 3 times, not 6; also my diet mostly consists of protein. I've also got fruits, carbs, fiber, and proper fat mixed in w/ those.
Also I haven't lost any muscle during this "extreme" calorie deficit. I've actually increased my strength a lot since last month by adding in new exercises and using the rest pause technique.
