cutting begins

ok well i've been taking creatine for the last 3-4 months and have been doing bulking for about that amount of time....the diet hasnt been anything speicaly i'm not gonna lie but I have had a lot of people tell me I look a lot stronger mostly in the arms, shoulders and a little towards the back. I feel and possibly have noticed i may have gained an inch or a little bit of weight down in the pooch area and abs. I havent been worried about this cuz i believe this happens when people bulk. Now I will start my cutting cylce for about 2 months. I am on a school basketball team and will be practicing 5 days week. I will be running on the tredmill 3 times a week and continuing lifting my weights plus ab excersises 3X a week. Should i be concerned with this inch I may have put on and some of the weight gained, or should I be happy knowing that when this inch leaves if I cut properly my entire body will look even better than it is now. If done correct

Don't worry about it. Your going to gain fat while bulking, theres nothing you can do about. Just think the new muscle you added, will be able the shed the fat you gained while bulking in no time.

so ur sayin that the muscle i gained will be able to show a good amount when i get rid of that fat basically

Not exactly, the new muscle added will raise the metobolism, making it easier for you to cut. Creatine, is a controversial supplement. It hasn't been tested for long term effects and some people believe the weight gain is just from water build up in the cells. And the muscle you gained will look very nice when your done cutting.

Creatine is controversial? Creatine is the most researched supplement ever, yeah ever. It works very well for some people, and only kinda for others. I've never seen a non-responder, although I've heard a very few. Creatine will help you exercise, and might slightly help you cut. But more-so it will help you keep more muscle while cutting.

If your basketball practices are very intense, as far as running and being out of breath, you might not need so much more extra cardio. Losing fat is ALL about your diet.

Its been researched alot, I know that. But there hasn't been much research into long term effects.

wikipedia- "Current studies indicate that short-term creatine supplementation in healthy individuals is safe (Robinson et al., 2000). Longer-term studies have occasionally been done, but have been small. One such study that is often cited involved a minimum length of 3 months, but only had 10 creatine subjects".

Dont get me wrong though, I wish I could have creatine, my Father won't let me get some  (it took me a month to convince him to get whey protein, then he started questioning the GNC store clerk ) I discourage the use of the supplement long term though since it hasn't been proven completely safe.
