No matter what, a diet that is too low in calories will make you lose muscle weight and it will ruin your metabolism. If your calories are too low the calories you eat will be fighting to keep your body alive, not build muscle. Also, you need carbs to build muscle as well as protein.
Be careful with low cal diets. It can really do you long term damage. Better to be patient, improve your metabolism, and give your body the nutrition it needs.
