I have tested plenty of AI tools, but CueVue caught my attention for a different reason. Instead of simply generating content or answering questions inside a chat box, it is designed to put an interactive AI representative directly in front of website visitors.
For this CueVue review, I wanted to focus on the actual experience of building a LiveRep, testing the conversation and getting it ready for deployment.
The goal was simple. I wanted to see whether I could turn a normal website into something that could actually communicate with visitors instead of just displaying information.
The problem I was trying to solve was something I have experienced with websites before.
A visitor can read a page, understand most of the offer and still leave because one question was never answered.
A contact form does not always solve that problem either. It asks the visitor to take another step before they have received the information they need.
CueVue approaches this differently by using a LiveRep that can interact with visitors through voice or text and work toward a specific objective.
That immediately made more sense to me than adding another static FAQ section.
The first thing I noticed was that the setup was not as complicated as I expected.
CueVue can start with your website URL and use the information from it to create a knowledge base for the LiveRep. You can then review and edit that information before putting the representative in front of visitors.
That editing option is important.
I would never want an AI representative answering customers based on information that is outdated or incomplete. Being able to adjust the knowledge gives me more control over what the LiveRep should know.
The platform also lets you choose different LiveRep faces and voices and define the purpose of the conversation.
This is where I think people should spend some time.
I would not create a LiveRep just to have an AI face sitting on the website.
I would give it one clear job.
For example, it could qualify a lead, answer common questions, help someone book an appointment or guide a visitor toward a product.
The first thing I wanted to test was whether the LiveRep felt like more than a normal chatbot.
That was actually the interesting part.
Instead of typing into a small chat window and selecting predefined options, the visitor can have a more natural conversation with the representative.
I could ask questions, continue the conversation and see how the LiveRep responded based on the information it had been given.
This changes the experience of the website.
Rather than making the visitor search through several pages, the conversation itself becomes part of the user journey.
I also liked the fact that CueVue is not limited to one type of business.
It has use cases around lead generation, appointments, ecommerce, support, onboarding, recruiting and other website conversations.
For me, the most interesting feature was not the avatar.
It was what happens after the conversation.
CueVue provides conversation information such as transcripts, recordings, captured details and lead related information.
That means the interaction can become useful business data rather than simply being a conversation that disappears when the visitor closes the browser.
For a lead generation website, this could be particularly useful.
Instead of only knowing that somebody visited a page, you can potentially understand what they wanted, what questions they asked and what information they provided.
That gives you much more context.
CueVue's current All Access offer starts at $147 one time.
The offer includes commercial and agency capabilities, along with access to the LiveRep builder, templates, conversation features and other components.
There are also additional features around multiple client workspaces, follow up, languages, agency functionality and other capabilities depending on the package.
The current offer also lists a 14 day money back guarantee.
I would still check the current checkout before purchasing because pricing, bonuses and availability can change.
The biggest advantage for me is the combination of the visual representative and the actual conversation.
The setup is relatively straightforward, the knowledge can be customized and there are ready made templates to help get started.
I also like that the platform is not restricted to one particular use case.
You can build a LiveRep around lead generation, appointments, customer support, product recommendations and several other workflows.
The conversation data is another strong point because it gives you something to analyze after the visitor leaves.
I would not treat CueVue as a magic sales machine.
The quality of the experience still depends on the information you provide, how you configure the LiveRep and what you ask it to accomplish.
If your business information changes regularly, I would also make a habit of checking the knowledge base.
And while the AI representative can handle many conversations, I would still keep a human available for complicated questions or situations that require judgment.
That is how I would use the technology.
Let the LiveRep handle the repetitive conversations while the human team deals with the situations that actually need a person.
I can see CueVue being useful for website owners, agencies, consultants, local businesses, ecommerce stores and service providers.
If visitors frequently ask the same questions before becoming customers, a LiveRep could give them an immediate way to get answers.
For agencies, the client focused features may also make sense if the goal is to deploy conversational representatives across multiple websites.
The key is having a clear use case.
You should know what you want the LiveRep to accomplish before building one.
After building and testing my own LiveRep, what stood out to me was not simply the fact that it could talk.
The bigger idea is that a website can become interactive.
Instead of the visitor reading information and deciding what to do next on their own, the website can participate in that process.
A visitor can ask a question.
The LiveRep can respond.
The visitor can ask another question.
The representative can collect useful information and guide the conversation toward the next step.
That is what makes CueVue different from simply adding another chatbot to a website.
I would not say it will automatically increase sales for every business because there are too many factors involved.
But if your website would benefit from having a digital representative available to answer questions and interact with visitors, CueVue is an interesting tool to test.
