can someone tell me the benefits of the cross trainer? i have been a runner for years and have been told l need to give it up as my back cant take the impact anymore. i have started using the cross trainer at my gym and am worried that i will put on weight from not being able to run...so far (its been 2 weeks) the cross trainer seems to be working in fact i can see definition in my arms and abs which l habe not had before...l just want to make sure this is a good cardio weight loss activity...
